PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive (AIIA) is a joint venture between Aisin Indonesia and Aisin Seiki, Japan. While PT Advics Manufacturing Indonesia (ADSMIN), is a joint venture between Aisin Indonesia and Advics Indonesia. The inauguration procession, which began with the signing of the stone inscription and cutting the ribbon, was attended by Cellica Nurrachadiana, Regent of Karawang, the Board of Directors of Astra Otoparts, the Board of Directors of Aisin Indonesia, the Board of Directors of Aisin Seiki, customers, suppliers and the local Muspida. AIIA products include center pillar garnishes, door handles, power seat motors, power sliding doors for body parts and cam housing, engine front module, oil pan, oil pump and water pump for engine parts, which are marketed to domestic APM such as Toyota Motor. Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN), Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM), and Suzuki Indomobil Motor. In addition, AIIA's products have also been exported to various countries in America, Asia and Europe.
PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive began operating in 2004 on a 12 hectare land with a production capacity of around 6 million units per year. With a total investment of IDR 1.1 trillion and supported by 500 employees, AIIA has started producing body parts and started producing engine parts in May 2015. Building on the automotive component technology it has accumulated, the Group is also expanding its business into new fields including lifestyle and energy. In April 2017, PT Aisin Indonesia Automotive introduced the Virtual Company System (VC) as a new system capable of demonstrating comprehensive strength along the operating axis that extends beyond company boundaries while retaining each skill group and corporate DNA.
